August trip

Flying Qater Airlines

The 18th of August will soon be here, Bev and I will by winging our way across the Atlantic to visit the school in Uganda. We have been packing suitcases with items to take with us for the students and the staff. It is like a Tetrus puzzle trying to get everything in and still stay under the weight limits. It has been such a blessing to us to see that people’s hearts have been touched. They have given suitcases, clothing, sports equipment, school supplies, and financial support to purchase Bibles and new school textbooks. I wish you could all see the smiling shining faces when they recieve the gifts you have given.

We will also provide a large meal and fun day for the students and staff. There again people have given to help defray the cost of that meal. This meal is about the only time the children ever get a piece of meat. You cannot imagine the joy that such a simply thing like a meal can bring, something that we just take for granted. We hope to post a number of photos while we are there.
