It was a long day for us today 8/25. Pastor Lewi arrived to pick us up about 6:30am. We were still very tired from the long flight, but it is a long drive, so we have to get up and get going. We did go in to eat some breakfast before we left, which turned out to be a good thing as we did not stop for lunch on the way.
We got loaded up and left the Entebbe hotel about 8am, 7 hours later we were at the Golden Crane Hotel just outside of the entrance to the Nakivale Refugee Settlement.
The photos of the hotel look better than it really is. Again, this is Africa and the standards here are much different than what you would expect in the States.
The internet is out, so we will have very limited access to posting up dates. We are told they may have the WiFi working in a few days. I’ll not hold my breath.
