Ken will be leaving on May 12th to go to Uganda. The Main focus for this trip is the installation of the new Solar Water Pump for the school. The project will entail the installation of the solar pump at the well site, digging a ditch for the piping from the well to the school yard, constructing a cement base for a water storage tank, and installing water taps from the tank in several areas. The below photo shows the purposed construction.

This is a big project and we are praying it will be completed while Ken is in Uganda. The project has been contracted with Davis & Shirtliff, a large company that handles water and solar projects in many countries in central Africa. Ken has coordinated the start of the project as soon as he arrives in Mbarara to transfer the funding to them. The company has assured us the completion date will be prior to Ken having to leave on May 28th. The below diagram is a simplified version, but will give you an idea of project.

We would certainly appreciate your prayers for this trip.
- Our first priority is for the salvation of the students and staff to have a personal relationship with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
- That the school be an outreach of God’s love to the surrounding community.
- For the Solar Water Pump project to be completed while I am in Uganda. That the work will be done correctly, efficiently and safely. And that no extra funding will be necessary.
- For travel safety: flying, driving, and residing in the next three weeks. And for good health in every realm.
