We have been asked about the costs per student. at the Emmaus Primary School. Annual cost per student is approximately $200 per student. Unlike other schools in East Africa, our students pay no school fees, that is what your gifts cover. The breakdown of those costs are listed in out most recent Newsletter (which can be viewed from the home page).
Of course there are many other costs associated with school operations. We try to maintain a small contingency fund for unexpected emergencies.
A recurring gift of $100 per month would fund 6 students for the year. $25 a month would help 1.5 students for the year. The school now has 426 students, so every donation is important.
